Fundraising Extension and Strategic Initiatives

Fundraising Extension and Strategic Initiatives

Parents,

As this is the first year for the new fundraiser, we will be extending the campaign for one extra week. The preschool and elementary fundraiser will now run through Friday, November 20.

Additionally, we are excited to announce our strategic initiatives for each school.

St. Mary/St. Boniface
There are three strategic initiatives we would like to implement over the next 1 – 3 years. The first deals with the safety and security of our faculty and staff. The PA system at St. Mary’s Cathedral is now serving 3rd and 4th generation families. It does not properly work and needs to be replaced. At St. Boniface, there are improvements we need to make in the gymnasium for athletics and gym class. The gym is small and your children play hard. We would like to improve and increase the protective padding throughout the gym. Our final strategic objective is to purchase a new reading and literacy curriculum and materials for grades K – 6.

St. Francis
We are so grateful for our beautiful facility and new furniture. Over the next 1 – 3 years we would like to improve the outdoor space around our facility to include the following:

  • Fence in the grass area in front of the school to develop more recreational space and an outdoor prayer garden.
  • Build an outdoor classroom space within our current playground.

St. Lawrence
There are three strategic initiatives we would like to implement over the next 1 – 3 years. The playground equipment needs to be replaced for the benefit of our children. Our PA and bell system is antiquated and needs to be replaced. In addition to this we would like to purchase a new reading and literacy curriculum and materials for grades K – 6.
