As we plan for the next school year, I am writing to share some important updates regarding our 2024-25 school year calendar. After careful consideration, we have made adjustments to the school calendar to better serve the needs of our families, teachers, and staff.
The key updates to the school calendar are as follows:
- School Orientation: Each school in LCSS will have their orientation on Sunday afternoon, August 11, 2024. More details to come!
- Start of the School Year: The first day of school will now begin on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024.
- Easter Monday as a Non-School Day: In alignment with our commitment to our Catholic faith, Easter Monday will now be designated as a non-school day. This adjustment acknowledges the importance of the Easter season and provides our community with an opportunity for reflection, celebration, and rest.
